I don't know about these racists but I don't discriminate against trade banned individuals. In fact, I volunteer at a shelter for abused trade-banned people.

Hah, accousattion? No, actually you did kick me (As well with everyone in chat you gave an invite to) out because I got a notification on Steam, that's how I found out. When a a group gets deleted you don't get a notification. I honestly don't know why I got kicked out because whenever someone made fun of you about being trade banned (which gets on your nerves) I always got them to stop.
What I don't get is why you invited me to your group to kick me out a few days later when I did nothing wrong to you. I never asked for an invite either.
Also I don't care about your group, just wanted to know what lie you would say as to why you randomly like kicking people in your groups.

Oh look another silly group with yet the same old rule of: "SPAMMER IS THE SUPREME RULER OF STEAMGIFTS".
What a joke this is, i'm going to make a group for people who have more giveaway entries in at least a 2:1 ratio (entries|comments) and call myself a genius for using a new rule that was probably never used before when forming a group.

If i'm going to make a group to giveaway things, i won't be like these people. I'll make sure everyone legit (don't break SG rules) have an equal chance of getting in. For now i'm not interested in giving away anything, i haven't bought games for a few months now...

Considering that there are quite limited number of stats to work with, it is bound that given enough groups there will be overlapping of rules. I still cannot understand why people get so angry over a requirement. Giveaway groups are meant to gather certain individuals that meet requirements. That means the very idea of requirements is to leave people outside. We already have one group that everyone can use and it is called public giveaways.

Right given that we already have hundreds of groups that work with the same rules, thinking on something completly different and unique is too hard for him/her when creating a group?
Plus these groups are the cancer in Steamgifts, if you like supporting this kind of stuff, i don't blame you. Everyone has their own choices in life, it's like religious vs non religious out there in the real world.

Yeah i know that, still not hard to think for yourself and come up with a good set of rules that aren't copy pasted around just like that, it's damn annoying.
Look at your group for example, i like it, it's pretty much unique, it was cleverly thought out and it was open to the community to discuss the way it goes in the end, it was built and discussed by everyone that wanted to be part of it like me.
There's a difference when making hundreds of groups with the same objectives in the same community versus a group that has set up their own objectives.

A group is only as good as its members. The guidelines you've lain out are an excellent start. Compulsory gifting is generally a poor idea, but community involvement is a very good one. Ignore all the people giving you shit here. They're trolls, asshats, and idiots who don't generally make positive contributions to the community anyway, so not the sort of people you'd want in your group. Just stop responding to them and they'll have to go find another thread to shitpost in. As for me, I'll hold off for now. Most groups implode or die very quickly, but I'll be keeping an eye out to see how this one turns out. As for the giveaways, I've been deliberately avoiding entering for very many things until I've gotten some more giveaways done. When that ratio gets too high I get to feeling a bit leechy. Anyway, good luck to you.
