I just started playing Deus Ex GOTY, because I didn't have the money to buy Mankind Divided. Bit late to the party I guess.
Are there any good graphics mods for the game?
Also, heres a giveaway for Deus Ex if you don't already have it:

That is a total redesign aimed at people who are bored by knowing everything in the game already.

+1

Most old games have design elements that are just too anticuated, these kind of mods, are the best for a first playtrough or a replaytrough. They dont change anything on the game itself, just make the visuals and control schemes more "useable".

Theres also a great mod like this for TES III: Morrowind, called Morrowind Overhaul.

First playthrough of anything should be vanilla, imho.

Kind of agree, but visual type of mods (be it textures or UI) can improve upon the experience without changing the content. For example if I were Bethesda I would have changed the vanilla to use UI of SkyUI because vanilla is horrendous... or maybe AI changing mods, but I wouldn't touch combat- or story-altering mods.

Not agree agree at all, unless you want to boost your nostalgia, there no reason to not take on mods that update textures, or improve controls with proved descicions.

an FPS with no mouse look is just silly.

I somewhat agree with the controls part, some old games are just too uncomfortable to play, but for a first playthrough, I like leaving the game in its original form.

but there are some elements in old games, that werent implemented because they still were beeing trought trough, or just didnt have resources.

Like, why would you endure a bad clipping camera on an early 3D platformer if there is a mod that fixes that.

If somebody didn't play Duke Nukem 3D yet, I'd strongly recommend him starting with HRP right away.

This is all you need for a first play through.
Expect it to be a lot more diverging than anything you play. It supports all play styles from CoD kiddie to Thief, with alternate routes, side missions, secrets, and diverging paths everywhere.

Thanks, I'm gonna try this (I've never played DE, amongst other because of shitty graphics).

Depends on your age, I guess. In 2000, Unreal engine was one of the best-looking game engines ever made, and this game was almost ground-breaking for being a fully voiced first-person RPG with lip animations. The latter wasn't common in games for almost four more years.

Oh sure, back in the days it probably looked really good. But I didn't get into DE until Invisible Wars, which was just ok. Human Revolution was the game that really made me hooked, and by then, DE looked like crap.
The first game that really got me hooked on FPS was Half Life in 1999. I've played Wolfenstein, doom, quake etc, but they were only ok, nothing special to me. So yeah I just godt DE GOTY, so it will be my first playthrough.

It's an intelligent FPS like Half-Life 1 was, so that is some connection. In reality it's a cRPG with FPS controls though. Be ready to get overwhelmed at first, because the game stops holding your hand completely even in the tutorial. You are given a very free hand in how you play this and the plot supports almost all play styles and even some exploits you may find. For example, some levels have hidden goodies that can only be accessed by exploiting the ruined physics that happen when you activate the speed augmentation.

I've played it a few years ago totally vanilla, I think it doesn't need anything, maybe just a grahjics overhaul if you can't stand the old models :p

It can be pre-purchased. With the single stupidest pre-purchase plan so far in gaming history.

I'm going to repeat what others have already said and suggest you use New Vision. It will overhaul the graphics without changing the game for you. That is a good thing, since, in many ways, the original game is still more impressive than most modern-day shooters.
