Hi there , my last gaming laptop is broke and they are trying to charge me £920 to repair it so i may as well get a whole new computer, can anyone please recommend anything for me.
My room is quite small so anything compact would be the best.
Here is a small train for your kind help (all lvl 1)
https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/hlgWD/
thanks kindly
Edit: here is the message they sent about the repair ( I only sent it in because the screen wouldn't turn on :p)
Hi John
Thanks for your emails and I apologise for the delay.
We are fixing the minimal amount that we need to see where we stand which is LCD cover and LCD cable. According to the technician, the hinge is repairable without replacing.
This would put repair at about £40. If the machine requires a new screen, we would be looking at another £80 but we wouldn't proceed without informing you.
As the Motherboard seems slightly twisted but working, we would not be able to continue to warranty the machine if this isn't replaced, despite working. Because the CPU and GPU are soldered to the board, this would be around £800 to fix.
As soon as we know more we will certainly let you know.
As always, if you have any other questions or queries in the meantime then please do not hesitate to get back in touch.
