No, some keys can be expired, Gearcrak Arena keys expired after removal from steam store, and can't be sure for 100%, but i think that some of HB giveaway keys are expired too.

Humble Keys given away for free during special promotions have expiration dates. Purchased ones do not.
Likewise, other keys with expiration dates on their activation dates are from free promotions.
This is done intentionally to try and at least someone lessen the number of people exploiting and stockpiling a ton of free keys and trying to resell them.
Don't blame the people giving us free games, blame the people fucking it up for the rest of us. :/

Gearcrack is a weird special case where, as I recall, the game became unplayable after they removed support for it, so keys for it weren't able to be activated anymore as well.

How long a key last is up to the publisher they can set time limits on it.I How it is done i am not sure i would think they contact Steam and say if anyone tries to active said keys after set date,they would not work.

In the end i have never had issues with them sending keys but i am still curious as if i will get this,as the way they did this one,is a bit different then how they usually do it,and no confirm e-mail that i may or may not be getting one.

The UK's continued usage of Pounds instead of Euros may have something to do with the separation, though that idea is out the window if Denmark is also listed.
Edit: My belief that the UK's use of the Pound didn't tie the country directly in to the EU's economics appears to have been false, so I've edited the phrasing to be more precise.

The UK is not part of the Eurozone (except for Ireland), which uses the Euro as its official currency. It is (still) very much part of the EU!

Edit: codes are being emailed, but some people are having problems. "Invalid taxcode reference key 5 for subsidiary 4". No solution as of yet
