Anyone having trouble with Idle Master today?

After the sales started I couldn't get Idle Master to work. It just has an exception as soon as it loads up. Not sure what to do about it. Got 10 games to idle lol

same (alos have 10 gamse to idle), gives me a .NET Framework Error (no contact to Remoteserver)
... assuming to many are using it or the idle-master server is down, or your application much like
mine wasn't updated (i think not)

edit: works now ... changed the priority of cards > logged out > closed > started > logged in > worked

I had the same problem ,

  • 1 i closed steam
  • 2 i uninstalled idle master
  • 3 redownalded idle master with updates,
  • 4 opened idle master and sign in (steam needs to be closed )
  • 5 open steam
  • 6 enjoy

It counts the Moster Summer Sale Badge as a game, because you still have cards to drop
Add this AppID 368020 to your blacklist
(At least that was my problem, if you specified your problem better it would help )

Oh that might be it as I had one of those drop. Where do I find the blacklist to add that ID to?

The Blacklist is a .txt file in your idle master folder. Just add 368020 there and you are done

Ohh didn't know that. I don't have the newer version. No reason to get it the one I have works like a charm :D

I've got the older version of the Idle Master and it is in it's folder. I have no idea where it is in the newer ones. For that look at Sighery's comments above

Any one knows how those cards drop. It used to say I had 1 card drop remaining now 2, are they the ones that already dropped?

afaik you dont have to actively play it though in order to get the cards, so even if you occasionally take a look at it you should be good to go

so far I got 2 card drops

Used the tip from Aseed and it works now. I have 18 games to idle. :P Summer sale is at least good for collecting cheap games for the cards. Stupid tax though.

i don't know how idle master gets info but my idling script is trowing errors when steam community badge page isn't loading correctly

If you dont have the .txt in the specific order, you can start idle master, click in the left corner "File" -> "Blacklist" -> insert the number above and click on "Add" ;) Should work
