What games will you miss?

Definitely Battlefield 2. It was an great Gme with tons of good Mods.
I really loved this game, because there was nearly no bugs and overpowerded weapons.

Read somewhere that EA will provide servers for all BF games released after BF2.
EDIT: Also BF2 included. And also Origin.

Didn't they later said "Ha ha, you believed us and bought BF2 in that $2 promo, suckers!"?

Anyway, AFAIK gameranger will provide support. Not only to BF games, but bunch of other gamespy-games

There was some EA promo on old BFs right in same moment when Gamespy said "we're going down".

So lots of people (and gaming sites, which probably is more important here :P ) asked "EA, are you cheap bastards that practically steal people money by selling game that won't be working soon?". And they responded with "we'll fix it, you can buy it".
And now they said they can't/won't fix it and gameranger said they will.
