Scrap Garden - The Day Before is free on Steam. From what I gathered this is a prequel chapter to Scrap Garden, which looks like an interesting 3D puzzle platformer.

You can purchase (or in case of F2P games, 'purchase') games without downloading them on the spot.

in this case it doesn't at all.. but there are a few games that gives a license and add's it to your library as if it was not a free2play game.. but this offer is a normal free2play game, not license based.

You just click "Play Game" and then the dialogue box for downloading from Steam pops up, and then you click "Cancel". The game is added to your account, and when you reload the page, it will show the green "In Library" bar.

Just a heads up - if you own Train Valley on Steam (was in Oct's Humble Monthly), you can get the full version of Scrap Garden for about 1/3 off ($9.89) in the Train Garden Bundle.
