Back up your data, folks...

I bought a dock for internal hard drives, so i just load them into different pc

Get recuva and get your data back, as long as you havn't completely overwritten the drive or formatted it securely it can probably pull the data from the drive. Yes, even if the drive is broke youd be amazed at what you can pull from it.

Connect your broken drive to the PC which is running from another drive, run recuva with the deep scan features, find your data. ??? PROFIT!

sorry to hear about your hard drive. i lost almost 300 gig of pictures, music, movies and other stuff when I tripped over the cord of my 1tb external hard drive, which caused it to slam into the floor while i was booted on it while writing files to it. it never booted up again. the pictures i lost were only backed up to that hard drive. i lost about 2000 pictures that were lost forever.

I backup my backup. I will need to replace my 500GB with something this decade. Also use text files on where to find stuff in case the original files get messed up.

Next time remember to save a backup on Megaupload... oh wops
