Yeah, except Portal, the first Portal. That's an easy game to speedrun and took zero effort or skill.
Mirror's Edge was fairly easy too. Everything else was harder.

Although I finish some games many times i never tried to see times of other people and do it better. I dedicate more time to football games so the rest is to explore, finish, beat highest difficulty and then change game. Don't go to the point of being an expert. The only thing close to speed runs that I did was to get trophies in God of War games since we had a limit time to finish the game.

I've done em for achievements. Spelunky comes to mind although those achievements aren't usually hard to get so I'm not sure that they're really speedruns. 8min for the achievement but I think the WR is 2min? I think mine was 4min.

spelunky was very hard for me. I finished it though. but not the true ending

Hell? if you can beat temple then hell is not much harder cause you're usually set on items. There are times I still get stuck in the caves sadly. Too much tilt.

For achievements as well. I take my time to discover everything in games.

Did one that I can recall for achievements. Tales of Vesperia, you have to finish it in under 15 hours I think.

Nope, never did and probably never will. I'm more of a slow gamer, I usually take more time to complete a game than the average player. I don't like rushing things in general so I don't see the appeal in doing speedruns. The only thing that gets close to that for me are boss runs (loot!). ;)

Beat Dark Souls in about 5 hours once. There's way faster speedruns out there, I was just trying to see how fast I could do it (and without glitches/exploits).

Also did the Resident Evil remake in under 3 hours to unlock the infinite rocket launcher.

Speedruns are pretty fun, but you really have to love the game to do it.

Clearly they were worth preordering :p

Hahah totally worth it ;P

REmake is definitely worth playing if you haven't before! Heard the HD version is pretty sweet too. I love that game far too much though, so obviously I'd say that.....

Heard good things about Revelations 2 as well!

I'm a diehard Resident Evil fan. If you only knew my collection of this franchise...

I've played the original REmake and still have it. It's incredible. HD has great reviews so I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

The first Revelations was great but 2 launched with terrible issues so I avoided it until it was patched. I think it's running great now, so I have no more excuse for letting it sit. :)

Good man, same here :D I started collecting them but then it got a bit out of control and just became a general survival horror collection haha!

Ah nice, REmake on the Gamecube totally blew my mind. Still does to be fair. Yeah I'm excited to see the HD version too :) Also the achievements give me a reason to try things I never have before (like Invisible Enemy mode..... should be fun :S)

Didn't realise R2 had so many issues at launch :( Hope you enjoy it :D

I've DONE spped runs....but if I do it, it depends on two factors (1) Type of game it is and (2) If i've played through it before. First time playthrough of a game I take my time, soak it all in and enjoy the story.
