I don't know javascript, but can I just replace the string
steamgiftsPlus.src = 'http://hfoy.net/sg/steamgifts-plus.js';
to something from a local path C:\somewhere or even from my local network 192.168.1.**//somewhere ?

...What?
Okay, I'm no expert, but there are a couple thousand listings on userscripts.org that work entirely locally. Other than manually-awarded profile badges (which I don't care about), what features could possibly require the script to be hosted remotely?

DLCs, maybe. I'd greatly appreciate it if they could be stored locally and be added as part of the regular update cycle, but I understand it may be difficult or impossible to implement like that.
Future updates...no, I'm sorry, but I'd rather be forced to check userscripts.org once a week manually.
I'll be straight with you--my concerns are mostly about security. Right now this addon pretty much forces me to give code.google.com a permanent exception in Noscript. This means that any code from that site, no matter who wrote it, gets a free pass on my system. Since the site in question (quite understandably) doesn't check to make sure the code it hosts isn't malicious, that's a fairly substantial hole that I'd rather fill if it's at all reasonable to do so.
EDIT: Okay, apparently you've already addressed this via providing the proper subdomain to whitelist. I'd never been able to find that before by myself, so thanks for that.

I've just changed source and it's working. Thanks for advice.

She quietly left a while back, moved on with her life.

When I say quietly left, I mean it. It just happened, none of us got any warning of it, not even the other mods. We're fine with it, we expected it might happen one day, but I doubt she'll be back, much as we miss her.

Yay! It's good to have SG+ back :) Thank you, dotazured!

Thanks but i won't trust some random user rather then a SG moderator :( :) Good job anyway or so they say ,thanks for the efforts OP Dotazured.

Started a short while ago. It was basically asking you for a password every time you accessed a page SG+ affected.

There are no submenus; Greasemonkey scripts are in the extensions list. Try looking again? It should be called SteamGifts Plus.

ATTENTION!
As you might noticed SG+ is broken due to that Kait's code.google is throwing 403 for some reason,
which makes it impossible to fetch the newest version of the SteamGifts Plus plugin.
I have rehosted it so people can continue to use it.
leomoty and I (dotazured ) have decided to continue the development of this user script after that Kait's code.google went down.
We will continue to improve and add features to the plugin. All of the settings and filters will continue to work as normal.
Original thread: http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/u2zKI/steamgifts-plus-lots-of-new-features-for-firefox-chrome-and-opera-150000-downloads/
Note: This version may or may not work with Firefox atm, but works for Chrome, Opera 12 & 17.
Update 2
0.9.87 BETA ALTERNATIVE
Update 1
Your filters and settings will continue to work with this version if you had the previous version from Kait!
