What is your Steamgifts CV Level goal (whether or not you have reached it)

To mitigate against collectors who would simply enter the GA to add to their game collection.
It's an imperfect system, granted, and will weed out some who have a genuine interest in playing the game.

8 is pretty much my end goal (well, for the next year at the very least) which I should hit within the next day or so. Getting from 7 to 8 was insanely more challenging than I expected, even thinking about getting to 9 makes me a little queazy, so I'll most likely be taking it a bit more easy after 8 because I went a bit ham on my finances getting there. I got to around 7.7 and was starting to have regrets after realising how much I'd been spending, but then I was like "well I've come this far, I can't stop now"

Unsolicited advice warning: if SG / CV / GAs are having a real impact on your finances, then I'd advise to stop or at least slow it down greatly. It feels great to give things away and it's very generous of you, but please, take care of yourself first. =)

Yeah I know, definitely sound advice. That's why 8 is where I'd like to stop at for now. Gets addicting but after a while it's time to take a step back. It's mostly at the fault of my gaming circle, we end up changing games every couple of weeks to keep things fresh because it's hard to keep all 5/6 of us interested in the same game for too long. Add that to my bundle buying addiction and SG giveaways and you've got a bill with too many numbers on it.

I dropped down from level 2 three times due to faux CV. :D
Right now my goal is level 4. I'm currently saving up my Steam wallet to make a nice giveaway and will probably give away a bundle as well to reach that as soon as possible.
I don't really have an endgoal when it comes to SG level though. With my budget I'll slowly crawl my way through the levels and spend too much money if I'm near a new level. xD I guess level 10 will just come naturally after some years.

Yuck-- nothing worse than CV drops...though there are worse reasons than faux CV for a drop....retroactive bundling, games you've given away being removed from the store, Steam API bugs, etc.
You've only been here four months...to be more than halfway to level 4 is admirable!

Due to what I affectionately refer to as "the Daedalic Bug" (where several Daedalic titles are reporting as being worth $100 related to a discount in the Armageddon Bundle I think), I am temporarily Level 10. Woo-hoo?
I'm guessing this will last until 10-April, when the 90% discount on the Daedalic Armageddon Bundle expires.
So to celebrate my temporary achievement of max-level (Steamgifts is an RPG, right?) I'm offering a giveaway that should expire when my Level 10 expires. Hmm.
