Giveaway with games I already have

I was wondering, is it allowed to subscribe to a giveaway which gives many games or a game with its expansions if I have one of those games or I already have the game without expansions?

you can just ask the creator of the giveaway if you can enter, he's the one who decides.

If you have the base game, you shouldn't enter GOTY/Complete packs just for the DLC as that seems rude imo.

As far as large packs/collections, I would ask the giveaway host how many is acceptable to own before entering.

I don't see that bad. Let's say you only have the base game and the GOTY version has like 5 more dlcs you don't own. I would enter as I see it fair.

You might think it's fair but the creator can and will get a reroll whether you own 1 item in a pack or 10.

If the creator doesn't mention that in the description. He should not re-roll because it's his fault.

As said by support in other threads (which I was not able to find now, but they're quite recent), in these situations, it's up to the giveaway creator to decide asking for a re-roll or not, even if it's not on description.

If you don't care to put 2 words in the description, i don't see why you would waste even more time to check the winner's steam profile, ask for a reroll, wait for support to answer etc...

It could be see that bad, because you already have the chance to play the game, but not the people who don't have even the base game...

For complete packs, if the creator of the giveaway says in description not to enter if you own the base game. Then don't enter. If you are talking about game collections, same thing. Usually they will say if you own 3 or more games, don't enter etc. If they don't say anything in description, feel free to enter. If they re-roll, it's their fault for not informing in the description.
