As far as I understand, the limit to add 50 packages per hour to the account has been lifted, today I have added 6000+ packages to my account and I have no more packages to add on Steam! ~10 new games have been added to the game count that appears on my Steam profile, and the number of all items in my library has been 6307!

How is it done?
1- Install the plugin. (https://steamdb.info/extension/)
2- Go to the following site: https://steamdb.info/freepackages/ (Make sure you're logged into your Steam account from that browser)
3- Push the "Activate these packages now" button.
and wait, this could take a long time. When the process is finished, you will see the text "Script finished.".

Note: Sorry for my bad English.

I don't want to demonize this method, but it should be used with caution.
I tried the steamdb method to add free items. You got a lot of unwanted stuff installed with it. There are filters, thats correct, but you install a lot of crap games, many with unreadable characters and a lot of Prologe titles and other 🤪.
Prologe titels are not filtered by the DEMO filter.
So, if you want a try by this install method, it is better to test this with a Steam test account because it cost a lot of time to remove undwanted stuff from your library.
If you need to remove items from your library, here it is:

As OP has said, Valve has recently removed the 50/hr rate limit for free activations. xPaw updated the SteamDB freepackage script accordingly. Now you can activate all free packages in like an hour instead of two weeks of continuous effort, if you wanted to clutter up your library.

Remains to be seen whether this is an intentional/permanent change or Valve making a mistake that will be fixed with Tuesday maintenance.

I love how SteamDB offers a helper bot yet at the same time blocks my browser because it thinks I look too much like a bot... Do as I say, not as I do eh...

Still, thanks, I wasn't aware of that
