I just got dying light and dying light bad blood so that information is incorrect. Except the region lock thing. I live in the US and both keys worked just fine.

I would try going to the store page and seeing if it doesn't stop you on Steam from carting it and getting to the payment method screen to test that. If you do get it in the bundle and you can't activate it maybe you can find someone who would buy a row version and trade? =/

Possibly yes! I tried what you suggested and it didn't seem to restrict me from carting and paying for it. I think usually they're restricted because of the violent content, EU countries like Germany are usually pretty strict about that, my German friend can't even get Dead Rising. No restrictions of any kind here though thankfully! But yeah we'll see! Let me be silly and buy two more 🤣 Oof!

I was definitely hoping for Railway Empire. But I did end up with Rise of Industry and that game has been on my wishlist, so it wasn't a total loss for me. Plus I can still try to trade for Railway Empire, although with my lack of trading skill, that is an unlikely proposition!

If it makes you feel any better, I would say trading skill probably will be a minor factor at most. The number of copies of any particular rare / unbundled game in the mystery bag is seemingly low, and probably few people bought and don't want to keep what they got.
Though I hope you do find Railway Empire.

I am tempted, but it does seem like it's a waste of money in most cases. For 5€ you can buy BTA tier of HB's bundle most of the time I think (especially early on), and one of their bundles ends in 2 days.
Tell you what, I'll wait for HB's One Special Day bundle to end and see what games the next one will have. If I don't like their BTA I might just gamble on this once.
