Active giveaway limit

I want to start a puzzle with 7 giveaways soon, but I'm only able to create 3 additional gifts based on my giveaway feedback... What can I do? D:

The more giveaways you create and receive positive feedback on, the more you will be able to create.
In order to increase your limit, you'll need to have some more successful giveaways.

Yeah, but you'd better plan far ahead. I created a ticket april 13, got an answer from support april 14 saying they will place my request in admin's queue. I assumed it meant it was going to happen very soon, but it didn't, I closed the ticket yesterday and did not get my extra slots.

Hmm... thanks for the answers. I could request more slots now and open the puzzle in a few months, but I don't want to wait that long. :/ I neither want to create giveaways to get more slots, because these giveaways could've been in the puzzle then...

Maybe you could make a 2-parts puzzle.
You make a first part with some of the GAs, then when these are over and have been marked received, you make a second puzzle for the remaining GAs and put the link to the puzzle in the description of one the GA from the 1st part

That's a great idea, but how many giveaways do I need to create to get some more slots? Would like to know that so I can split the puzzle better. :) Thanks for the idea. :D

Yep, and apparently making 3 giveaways with 2 copies each will not give 2 slots but 1

EDIT : my bad, they will give you 2 slots

They don't count at all(I think.. haven't really checked that) but I can surely say they don't cost you a slot either like deleted and not received do

Maybe those 2 copies ones you mentioned earlier actually don't count as 1?

Ha, yes, maybe multiple copies do not count as 1 then.
3 from start + 20 from gifts sent - 2 delted GAs = 21

you said you have 60 gifts received. 60/3+3 (initial) -2 (deleted) = 21.

I supposed they do not count as there is no one to mark it received. It would be too easy to make private GAs without sharing them to get more slots.

Nevermind this, it was a mistake because I forgot my deleted GAs
3 base slots + 60 gifts send/3 - 2 deleted GAs = 21 slots

Yes, I forgot I had deleted 2 GAs
I have 21 slots, 54 GAs received and 60 gifts send
So I though 3 base slots + 54/3 = 21
But it's actually 3 + 60/3 - 2 = 21

heh, thought that they maybe changed it in v2 ;) Because in v1 I did 50+ copies GA and it surely gave me 1X slots by itself ;p

When you first make your account here you are given 3 slots. For every 3 successful gifts(successful=ended and marked as received) you get 1 extra slot.
However please note that for every deleted giveaway or one that is marked as not received you also lose 1 slot.
So if you want to create puzzle with 7 giveaways you have to have 12 completed and marked as received, no giveaways deleted, no giveaways marked as not received.

you could also make some announcement in one of your 3 GAs behind the puzzle, that there will be follow up GAs...and you could whitelist those that comment....or just bumb your thread after a week, with new links ( in the puzzle)

I'll do what you suggested, i.e. I am going to split the puzzle in two phases so that I can have all the giveaways in the puzzle.
