Gatorade isn't particularly 'natural'. I doubt any cucumbers were actually used. :s

Hmm...not bad, not bad. That can be pretty flexible too.

I like to eat raw cucumbers too, they provide many minerals and nutrients plus the water they contain is filtered by the mother plant itself. Also i like to eat plain cucumber salad with slices of cucumber sprinkled with some vinegar and salt. If they are from your own garden then eat them with the peel on, otherwise the peel may contain toxic substances from pesticides.

While I admire your fortitude, for the rest of us we have to work on acquiring the taste. You usually start off by smothering or soaking it and working your way down.

Slice them, put flour on them, add egg yolk, put bread crumbs on them, bake on oven, serve with chicken, tzaziki and and salad
Works even better with zucchini or eggplants, because they contain less water.

Breaded cucumbers? That's so crazy... I don't know why I never thought of that before. Thanks man! ^^

Man! I was kinda hoping this was another thread on the summer sale!!! Well dang. Guess I'll talk about cucumbers instead. I like cucumbers in general and eat em plain with salt and pepper, but otherwise they're pretty good in salads and on turkey sandwiches or something like creamy cucumber salad.

peel them, grill them, add to boiling vegetable stock, add a little of salt and shitload of white pepper. you may also add a little bit of tarragon. boil it all until cucumbers nearly fall apart, putit all to blender, turn it on max speed and wait till the soup turns into cream. add few green peas, serve hot with sour cream on top.

That Cucumber Collins doesn't look so bad. I've gotten more into the beverage mixing thing. Cheers! :D

"Instead it has been artificially flavored to resemble "the refreshing taste of a fresh cucumber" - I don't do artificial stuff. I'd probably rather blend it and add it to some mineral water (naturally carbonated).

decided to make a thread about cucumbers instead. They're not so tasty to me when they're unpickled, but that's something that I feel I should work on changing. How do you like to eat them? And what kind of recipes would you recommend to turn them from just a cucumber to OMG THIS IS FRIGGIN' AWESOME?
