Contributor Value decrease?

Well, if it wouldnt be like this - you could increase the price of the game to whatever you want (lets say 500 bucks) give it away here, get bunch of CV and then reduce the price back to normal.
That would be cheating.

Anyway - I dont understand people getting worked on about stuff like this. Its so meaningless and mostly about games that are bad and unpopular in the first place. If you are so worried about your level, buy several humbles for 1 dollar and youll have your precious internet ego points racking up fast

The site calculates CV from the information it gets from the Steam API. Steam API reports different price, CV changes.
If you would volunteer to pay for the server required to keep a database of every single of the 80,000+ Steam products in existence and you would also maintain it manually every single day, I am sure the site admin will gladly give your CV back. Until then, you live with the Steam API reports, like the rest of the other 1 million users here.

You is right , but for what i understand this is how SG work , when Price of games go down (or if they are bundled with bundles) user points CV go down too with it , so for what i understand in my ignorance the only and best way to make CV go up is to make new giveaways about new games (new games is mean games released in the last 6 months) so at least for 6 months CV would be OK , after 6 months most of time price of games start go down -30%/-50%/-75% and so the CV follow with them.... , but make another time the CV up just giveaway new games would be ok.
Not only this but also when\if you reach level 5 or 6 CV is more devalued,for example is price of game divided 499 x100 example 50€/499x100=10 so game 50€ give to you only 0.10CV point instead of 0.50CV , 0.50 is give only at first levels , and from level 7 to up game 50€ give only 0.5 point 50€/999x100=5.
This is SG rules and how it work , no one force us to giveaway or use SG , if we want we use,if we not want we not use etc. is up to us.
i understand that this could NOT be a "Good Deal" for someone,but the fact is SG is based on a idea (for the little that i understand) that people not must giveaway games for be sure to win but instead just for giveaway it without want anything back.
And this is why also if i partecipate many giveaway with only 20 people but never win i do not complain because i understand SG "philosophy" and accept it,then if i win ok,if not just patience and play my games and wait for better luck.

The fact is (but this is just my opinion maybe i'm wrong) that SG is not exist for be a "GOOD DEAL" (is not sort of catalogue\subscription netflix etc.) but it exist because is sort of a TOOL , useful software\web tool for make giveaway...
So if someone (same as me) is not a developer,not an expert of web,not an hacker,not a community manager etc. and it's just a gamer and want to have a way to giveaway games but with a tool that make easy to me to do it,so this is what SG offer.
Then i read a lot of people in the web complain about they say here there is some "shady" things etc. , but also if is true what they say i think is ok that too, because is normal that if this tool need to have moderators\admins that lose time of their life (and pay electric bills too for manage server and all things) they must to have a little support from people (patreon or advertising google etc. something that can help them to pay all they must pay for keep community sg and tools alive,domain,space storage web hosting etc).

For now i'm very happy about how the CV work and the games i win or i giveaway , and a lot of good people with me here i know on SG that before i never know,also from afghanistan,russia,usa,china and many others countries and this very awesome for me , is very good community.

Not only this,but when 1 time i have problem with one giveaway because one user can't rendeem it , moderators help me to delete the giveaway by ask to the user than win it and all ok,so they fix also my problem.
And when i fight very strong because i very fucking mad with morikalina,icaio and play appreciated groups , then after we make peace too (ok they ban me from group but we stop fight) , so i think this is also good community for stay and also if sometime someone is bad or fight then they understand make peace too,fix relationship,and i think this is very good,i now withelist them too and i hope they win some of my games too (also if they ban me from PA group but is ok i not care hope they win my games).
