It's something I'll keep my eye on, though I'm pretty comfortable with gyazo. Though the lack of ads definitely seems inviting. With this software, am I able to access my pictures at any time unlike gyazo? if so, I'll probably vote this up immediately.

I really dislike Gyazo. Lightshot is much better in my opinion.
This is the first time I've ever heard of ShareX, but it might even beat Lightshot.

Basically =P That's why I'm still rolling Win7, still using an ancient simplistic Dell keyboard, and still using a 3-button mini-mouse. (Wheras many gamers seem to be going Win10, flashy "gaming keyboards", and up to 20 button "gaming mice")

Well, I'm basically the same, except it's because I can't afford fancy stuff. Well, except for Windows 7. I actually chose to keep Windows 7 rather than upgrade to 10. 7 is still working fine to me, I don't see the reason to upgrade now. :P

wow, this is like a "1000 in 1" app.
i've been using picpick for window captures, fraps to record vids, lightshot for region capture, gifcam to create gifs and imgur uploader... i'm gonna replace them all with this. <3

I've moved from Puush to this app months ago. Direct upload to imgur and twitter makes me sold. Not to mention it's so powerful with lots of many options you can tweak with your liking. It makes everything so simple, can't live without it!
I hope it gets more recognition and putting it to Steam sounds like a great idea. You have my vote from longtime user :)
