I'd get the BFG and spend a little more on the classics although the classics should be secondary on your list if you don't like old graphics and weird(by modern day standards) controls. The Doom 3 Pack can be skipped.
I'm only missing the Doom 3 Pack which I am considering getting just for old times sake.

Heya,
I read a few comments in other threads where people say that you're basically better off buying the original Doom 3 Pack and not the BFG Edition, mainly because you have access to mods and those can get you the kind of graphics update you get in BFG anyway.
My question is .. does it really matter that much ? I'm thinking of buying the Doom 3: BFG Edition (5$) and it comes with Doom 1 and 2. Otherwise I could get the original Doom 3 Pack (3.24$) and the Doom Classic Complete (3.74$) for a total of 7$.. is that really worth the extra 2$ ?
Edit : I went for Doom 3 Pack and Doom Classic Complete .. I get lots more levels for the classic Doom games and I can mod Doom 3 which is what most people recommend. Getting the BFG Edition seems to be for collectors more than for logic reasons. Thanx for the help guys !!
