I got a refund for a preorder. When I wanted to sell some of my cards on the market I found out I got a week "ban".
Apparently this happened:
Newly Added Payment Method
Only items and games that are purchased with trusted payment methods can be traded immediately; otherwise there is a 7 day cool down before they can be traded. The Steam Community Market will also be unavailable during the cooldown. Any payment method that has been used on the account more than 7 days ago is considered trusted.
And the message on the market:
"You have recently funded your Steam wallet using a new payment method. You'll be unable to use the market for a few days while the funds are verified."
So they consider a refund as any other way of adding funds to your account.
They have to check if they can trust themselves?
I preordered the game using a verified payment method.
This doesnt make any sense.
Is there any way to stop this ban?
I'm quite active on the market so I would like to get back to business asap.
