Authentication required to use steam gifts plus now?

any one using chrome and steam get this pop up today.

the sever https://steamgifts-plus.googlecode.com:80 requires a username and password. The server says: Google Code Subversion Repository.

anyone know what i have to do to get steam gift plus working or is does it just need patching.
