Unreal Tournament '99, '04, 3 and Deus Ex as well as Deus Ex HR. And Morrowind, yeah.

Morrowind, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Space Rangers

Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Mario Kart 64, Yoshi's Island, Super Metroid, The World Ends With You, Chrono Trigger

Elder scrolls series, Warcraft series, Left 4 Dead series (yes yes, both parts!), Minecraft, Total War: Shogun II, Digimon: Battle Arena and Digimon World.. Many others too but i don't recall them at the moment.

Bastion, Half-Life 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Kingdom Hearts.
Edit: I'll add Gravity Rush as well. Really good game.

Gothic 1/2 , Jade Empire.

Star Wars: Republic Commando, and FTL

Oblivion (first Elder Scrolls game I ever played) and Far Cry 3 are probably the two games that impressed me the most.

Another notable game would be Spec Ops: The Line, I won it in a giveaway, and I really didn't know what to expect from it, it turned out to be have a really good story.

Kingdom Hearts series (those giant keys... got it memorized?), Bastion (Rucks! <3) and Portal 2. (Turrets..)

EDIT: I forgot! Castlevania Symphony of the Night! How could I! Alucard, I'm sorry! >_<

Gothic II, Operation Flashpoint Resistance, Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood, Anstoß 3 (Old german football manager) and many many others. :3

In recent times I'd guess Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and BioShock: Infinite. There are quite a few older ones too but I'm too lazy to list them. :P

Red Dead Redemption far exceeded my expectations.

Fallout 3 impressed me because I didn't know much about it before I played it and I didn't realise it was so full of interesting characters, stories and content in general.

Arkham Asylum impressed me a lot since before playing it, I couldn't name a superhero game I truly enjoyed.

The Binding of Isaac totally won my heart, I loved everything about it from the art to the music and the humour.

Littlebigplanet 1 + 2 [ps3]

Lots of them, but the best are Counter-Strike, Half-Life, The Binding of Isaac, Little Inferno and The Elder Scrolls series.

• Harvest Moon back in PSX era
• Sonic 3 and Knuckles - My first and my top fav Sonic title, most memorable moment in there along with Sonic Unleashed in 2nd place for best soundtrack and story
• Fallout: New Vegas - My first Fallout and open world game, never thought I would enjoy this kind of game a lot. Also my favorite Fallout (I've beaten FO3 after NV but I don't like it much as I like NV)
• Spec Ops: The Line - I giving it an applause when the credits rolling just like I'm watching a good movie, and I never do that to any game or movie before

each unique in their own way, and i grew up with those last 2 franchises,
