First Humble Bundle in a long time, how do you feel about it?

View Results
Tier 1 - All you can LiEat for a dollar!
Behold the Tier 2! I'm hoping to catch a nice BTA.
Tier 3 - now we're talking!
This bundle is not for me, I'm skipping it.
I'm on the edge about this one, I think I'll decide later.
What's up with these rebundles? I already own these games!

The only game I want is Aragami, but not for 6 bucks. No buy for me, not even tier 1.

I don't know, it was in one purchase with other games where I did reveal the keys. Not a bundle but still s:
I feel kinda cheap asking while it's on humblebundle :P

Well.. it happens, what can you do.. Thats why I have been putting off buying some desired games.. Hoping they come up in a bundle or some great sale :D

You make mistakes and learn. This purchase has been 3 mistakes for one lesson, as borderlands 1+2 also got bundled shortly after, but that just makes sure I don't forget the lesson.. right!? :P

If you were only interested in LiEat in the first tier, it's free on translator's site: http://vgperson.com/games/lieat.htm

With all the visual novels on Steam nowadays, I was hoping that said Amagami... Oh well. :)

you should also make a note that there is no significant difference between the free and Steam version of LiEat (except that Steam version gives achievements and stuff)

Thanks, I added the note for the non-Steam LiEat under the chart.

tier 2 is ok for me, only 3/6 games owned
Aragami looks fun

well LiEat is an easy own for anyone since it's free without achievements (unless you were already counting that in your 3)

I'll have to skip. The only games I'm missing are LiEat, Aragami and Shenzhen I/O.

I do want Bioshock Infinite, but without the season pass not sure if I care enough to buy the bundle just for that...

Interesting bundle. Won't buy, but I don't see it as an awful bundle.

Wasn't Beholder given for free once or twice?

i don't have LiEat and Aragami so just tier 1

well I think you're really paying 1 dollar for the chance that the cards will pay back (since if you really wanted to play the game it's free as noted above)

Scribble you suck!

If you don't already own Bioshock Infinite (like me) then it's an instabuy, but if you already own it then I understand y'all's disappointment. I'm surprised more people aren't hyped for this bundle though.

That was my reasoning behind all the hate as well. Impossible to please everyone.

Note: A non-Steam version of LiEat (same content as the Steam version) together with its sequels can be downloaded for free here

Wrong => the steam version contain all 3 chapters unless i miss another sequels ?

All three chapters in one package; no DLC, just the whole story

all 3 chapters are in that link if you look carefully.
If you want to be technical:

and like i said all 3 chapters are in the steam version. So i think it's wrong to say same as the steam version + his sequels since there isn't a chapter 4 or 5

Indeed, that was my mistake, sorry for that.
I didn't have time to carefully investigate the store page of LiEat and I didn't see that the Steam version contains indeed the 3 chapters.
I updated the note now.

Happy cake day!

Edit: any idea if LiEat: The Lie-Eating Dragon and the Vermilion Vampire is a sequel though? It's not included in the above-mentioned Steam version and it doesn't exist as a standalone app on Steam.

the non-steam version is split into 3 games (which are the 3 chapters on Steam)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Thanks for the change.

LiEat: The Lie-Eating Dragon and the Vermilion Vampire seem to be the name of the 1st chapter
LiEat II: The Lie-Eating Dragon and the Azure Dreameater the name of the 2nd chapter
LiEat III: The Lie-Eating Dragon and the Gold Thief the name of the 3rd chapter

well it said the non-steam version and the sequels.

non-Steam version of LiEat (same content as the Steam version)

Not really the same content if you don't add the 2 sequels to the 1st chapter, right ?
And if i say that you can download the 3 chapters of LiEat (who is the content of the steam version) + his sequels i'm wrong, no ?

Permalink

true, I guess it should have said to be more precise: you can download the 3 chapters of LiEat as separate downloadable games at this site [placeholder]

I updated the note, hopefully it's more specific now :)

Pretty solid first tier (LiEat is great) but mediocre second and third tiers.
