Aw, thank you! I do really really want to play it actually. I think this game looks really interesting, the main reason is of course the main advertisement 'war seen from an entirely new angle'. Not that I have played much war games where you kill enemies without needing some kind of explanation of why they 'should be killed' (I think Team Fortress 2 comes closest...) but still. The experience seems really worth it. Plus I like survival games and I've been told that TWoM is the best one out there.

I meet all the requirements O: Except the wishlist, because I've won it already, and it's one of the few wins I started playing immediately. It's a wonderful, wonderful game, very depressing and impactful. Definitely a waste if it's just a +1. Just checked and found out I've given This War of Mine away 4 times. O: Out of these, 2 have played for a while (didn't survive the war), 1 seems like it's idled, and 1 untouched. Better than I expected, I guess. But who am I to judge? I'm one of those terrible people who haven't played a lot of my wins. ;_;
Btw, I was just thinking of doing something similar for TWD S2 :D But haven't got the requirements all thought out yet.
Ah, that reminds me, 400 Days DLC is still available if you want it eeev (:

Thanks for your kind words, lmxn. I bought it for myself a few months ago and also started playing it right away. It's very dark and depressing, I still have to find the courage to try again with a new badge of survivors, as my first team died pretty quickly ;___;
I also haven't played all of my wins yet! - and I feel bad about it - but for some reason I think TWoM is something special. I can't even quite put my finger on it why, it just feels that way.

While that is true I have also given a ton of great games where I'm not (most of the times) particularly picky if the winner plays them somewhere in the near future if ever.
This War of Mine has a special place for me though. I thought I made that clear in the OP.

As for requirements, I don't think they make much sense - I've seen lots of people with more games who play through most the their library and lots of people with fewer games that have most of them untouched. Wishlist - some people use it, some don't; some add just the games they plan to get/buy in the near future, some add every game that might be of interest just so they not forget it and it's easier to notice a great deal.
Well you only said you " think this is a very special game", but didn't specify why, so it's not really clear why is it more special than other games.
But since you went on to make such detailed requirements I'll assume it means something to you.
First, think about the game, why it's so special to you and how disappointed it makes you that the person who won the game hasn't played it, when it could have gone to someone who would spend hours in-game and enjoy it.
Second step - look at all the games you have won and never played or barely touched.
Now, cross out the word "you" from the first step. Think about how many special games you other people were denied and those games ended up on account of someone who don't care about them.
In no way I'm telling you how to do giveaways or what giveaways to enter - it's completely your choice. But I hope you will think about it. Thanks for your contributions!

I was at peace with myself already when I realised that I don't qualify because the winner has to play the game right away, but I wanted to see if I fit in the rules. :P not to enter the giveaway, I am just a very curious person

I'm not here to convince you to let me join, but since that one time we talked it did seem like we have a similar taste in games. I noticed this game before when everyone was giving it away from the bundle (never joined any of those GAs), but it didn't seem that interesting from what I saw on the steam page. So my questions are, did you really like it that much (would you say it is one of your favorite games)? And what is the main focus of the gameplay? Dialogue, combat, exploration? That wasn't completely clear to me from viewing the Steam page. I'd appreciate the feedback, so I might keep an eye out for it in the future.

Well I've only read about it, never played it but the general opinion seems that it's quite depressing and grim and shows the bad side of war. While The Last of Us was somewhat grim, I don't feel like it was that bad.

I think this is a very special game; I gave it away once before and the winner never touched it to this day, which really is a big shame - I was thinking back then I would gift some amazing crazy game everybody would start playing right away - so it was and is pretty disappointing to see it rot as +1 in someone's library.
