Recommend hidden Gems

Too flashy colours for my taste and menus were awful, I don't think I bothered to play for more than few minutes. There's something with that kind of games and menus, launched Ring Runner recently and dear fucking gods, why menus can't be just menus?

Retro/Grade is amazing fun

I actually won Retro/Grade here and never would have known about it otherwise. It's really fun. I'm planning on buying the dev's new horror game on the strength of it.

The good news is that the guys that made Neverhood have a game on Greenlight. Same similar play style. So, hopefully we can get that game next year for winter sale.

I already own this and would totally recommend it to others, a great variation on the classic brick breaker.

This game looks awesome and have added to my list of must buys. I played a game like this on Kongregate called Shellshock Live.

agreed, I wish it had some larger coop maps though. but I think I read that that may be coming.

+1 for SkyDrift. I had a lot of fun with that. Nothing hugely remarkable or revolutionary about it, but it does a very good job at what it set out to do.

+1 for Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. One of the best indie games I've ever played. Extremely fun.

Own all of these. Love the Deathspank series.

its not a gem and not hidden enough.

+1 a pitty it's not on square-gmg sale. Another eidos gem, Anachronox a kind of FFVII eidos style. Please watch videos before getting a wrong idea of the game.

Wonderful game. Unique turn based combat system where your characters can combine their attacks for more powerful combos (think the unique combat similar to Chrono Trigger). Great story. Awesome art. Amazing techno/steampunk/fantasy world. If you enjoy FF7, then I think this game is worth your time to try.

Oooooo, that's tempting... Even if I'd never play it, just for the nostalgia, sitting there in the steam library, waiting to be played someday... :)

this is a must play. one of my favorite horror games. i was very impressed when i purchased it brand new years ago. i wasnt expecting it to be so good. great recommendation.
