Well, from my experience I can say usually it just means that you're doing most of the possible work and you're responsible for everything... so actually I feel sorry for loko :(.

I'm kind of sad that closed threads will no longer be visible. Some people close threads at the end of giveaways or such, and I'm still interested in seeing the outcomes. Some closed threads have worthwhile discussions. Granted at times there were quite a few of them, but in my experience that's the exception rather than the rule.

Loko: "Not yet, no. We will see when the forum gets an update. While I'm concerned about people closing threads before we see them to possibly ban them for policy violations, I think it's worth for the trade off of not having 8-10 closed threads like this morning."

I totally understand your pain, my friend. Also bad, are people that add you just to try to scam you, it is worse than a bad salesman at your front door.
But, I don't think loko can moderate things like that done directly on Steam, away from the forums here. Closest to that, is we can report scammers over on Steam trades.

This is a reminder of forum policy regarding begging. There is absolutely zero exceptions to this rule and it results in an account suspension. At no point is it justifiable to create a thread for begging. This is not a new policy and has been around since the beginning. It's a base rule:
The slight change in policy, however, is threads that appear to be begging, but are really intended to be for a puzzle or private giveaway will now be treated the same as a real begging thread. We cannot allow this to continue due to other members seeing "how much that thread worked out for the other guy" at a glance, even if it was all in jest. It breeds behavior we desperately want to avoid.

Forum Update
Regarding the "forum update", when a thread is closed, it will now get tucked behind the last "open" thread. So, we will have less Closed threads on page one. We hope this helps with the clutter.
If you accidentally close your thread, and can no longer find it, please use the Search bar to find it and submit a ticket to Support to have it reopened.
