I've still got 6 copies of Dead Island: Epidemic gift in my inventory, what should I do with them?

Since the game has been shut down, what should I do with these items? Will these stuff ever have a value? Maybe I can sell/trade them for crazy steam game collectors?
Basically they don't have use anymore.

If you cannot turn it into gems, then yes, trashbot is the best place for those inventory items.

You can still get new ones by buying dead island games so there's not exactly a shortage. I had one Beta gift left in my inventory when I bought one of the dead island bundles for Riptide/Escape and got four regular gifts and I'm sure that was after the shutdown

I have one, and I can't remember how. I think if you got beta access, you got a spare copy to give away... or maybe there are a bunch of other ways. I don't know.

Initially devs give 4-6 ciopies to alpha testers (Alpha Carriers) to give to friends, also later if you bought Dead Island or Dead Island Riptide you get 4 giftables, that was for those who wanna to join during the alpha and beta test, cos it was realeased on steam as F2P, and those giftables were no loger needed to play the game.

Also those giftables copies were (maybe im not sure) usefull some time ago (long time ago) to unlock steam accounts, during the time were you can unlock your steam account to full by activating a gift,

Who knows, maybe they patch it and put it back out there for private server hosting, maybe somebody cracks the protocol and makes it work...let me dream. :)

Moreover you should not ask users for keys/gifts, you risk a suspension for begging.

Unless some people ask you to give it to them, there are just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many copies of those floating around in large enough quantities to make them worthless even in the reasonably long run. So either be super patient or just trash them.
