No problem, 5 months ago i bought Nexuiz and the game don't even want to start, i got crush every time i open then game ! I've contacted the moderators and they said : '' No problem MR. we will fix this problem in future updates ''. After 5 months still nothing, and i'm not the only one with this problem...

I used to have this same problem. Some time ago they had it patched because I could use the Steam overlay in game(about a month ago I guess?), but I guess this problem comes up every now and then.
So do remember to enable the Steam overlay every once in a while, there will be some time where it will get fixed. To check whether it's fixed, just try to Shift-Tab ingame.

SOLVED: If anyone is having this issue too simply turn Steam Communty overlay off, that should fix it
It crashes everytime I try to change settings. So I can only run it on a crappy 800x600 or something like that resolution.
I feel sad now.
