Possibly mentioned before, but you could save a lot of money by getting a Raspberry Pi: https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/

Should tick all the boxes there, and while its not a laptop in itself, you can buy pretty cheap kit to make it into one, a tablet or any number of other things. Worth a thought!

Ahh I'm in a similar situation, my laptop is on its last legs after a good 7 years but I just got a new job so things are not as bad as they were a few weeks ago.

Sucks when a PC died, I've gone through a few that way. Typically because the hardware is many years older than what I'd like to be using. :P

I remember when I first came here, my PC has a 16MB TNT2. I couldn't play my bundle indies.

It's Autumn here and Barbie causing all the life to drain out of the trees.

i reccommend getting an ultrabook, its a really cheap laptop with shitty specs, but its so small, and has battery that lasts upto 16 hours, and the money thats left, start ordering parts slowly to build a pc! <3 good luck with your JOB
