Tropico 4 had a price error but as far as I know noone got the keys revoked.

Steam isn't gamesplanet, Tropico 4 Collector's Edition isn't Dead Rising 3, it wasn't free and it was later bundled

It was 39 cents actually. Steam had enough money to buy down the losses in the Tropico 4 case which is like 3-4 year old game. Gamesplanet is pretty small compared to Steam, so there was no way they could do the same on a game released just a month back.

He's talking about tropico 5, which could preorder for almost nothing from ubisoft with 1 (or more ?) free game as bonus. The preorder was aborted, it was non-steam anyway, not sure what happened to the free bonuses or some had steam keys.

To me it seems like it is. All the keys would most likely get revoked simultaneously and I've only seen that image about the revoke. No one here has confirmed it getting revoked as of yet. I still have my copy as well.

There is always that risk of having all the hard work of hoarding keys getting revoked...

In my opinion I would offload half the keys and keep the other half hoping the price will go back up if the keys I have are not dupes or revoked.
