Yeah, even after finding out what it really means, I do still read it as "warthog". Honestly, I see it as a very silly thing to say. I really don't understand why people say it. Do they seriously believe that if a god even exists, it would care enough to help them win a stupid game? I wonder if they thank god every time they do win... however many times that even is. The failure to adhere to any abbreviation or capitalization standards is what makes the intended meaning of "wthog" so unapparent. People are free to adopt their own interpretations of grammar, spelling, pronunciation or meaning, but communicating ideas relies on shared/common interpretations.

if communication would depend on those standards you would not be able to reply. so be glad that your brain helps you to spread the important message of grammar while cringing as i intentionally leave out grammar, spelling, capitalization (which is the most funy point in the english language ;D) and other interpretation-standards you are missing.

Well, this morning I woke up lol, then I peed wthog. I wanted to eat my cereals but I forgot to buy some milk looool, so I ate eggs instead rotf XD
I did the dishes wthog, then I went on SteamGifts to try to collect many games with the help of god lol wthog wthog wthog. I spent all my points lol sadface, so I prayed to get more, and my prayers had been heard lol wthog, because a few minutes later I was granted some points wthog ! So I prayed harder, and I got even more points rotf. I spent them all lol, so I prayed all day long wthog and spent my points bit by bit lol.
Now it's late wthog, I got no game today lol sadface, but it's god's plan rotf. I'll get something tomorrow if I pray hard wthog, I'm sure of that rotf.
What a great day it was lol. Uuuh no, not lol, I mean wthog.

For the longest time I kept seeing the generic "Thanks hope to win it wthog ^_^" on giveaways everywhere without knowing what "wthog" meant. In my head I always read this phrase as "Thanks hope to win it wart hog".
Anyone else have this problem????
TL:DR It's not nice to call the giveaway creator a wart hog :)
