But why do you enter a giveaway? Because someone wins. And it might be you. Why not enter a 1000 entries giveaway? Because the chance is low? But I won Duke Nukem Forever, Don't Starve and Fallout 3 somehow. My friend won Tomb Raider: Anniversary with 3,400 entries. It really doesn't hurt to try.

you are wrong about winning big, obviously people will buy games at low price more often than games at full price and recently released, it's just common sense around these parts.
I myself could say i won a couple of good games that i'm willing to try once i get to them, too many games to play right now, and today i just added the unreal pack on top of 100 or so games to play, i'm awesome right?

For the games I really want, I'm more likely to buy them myself after a while. Much more reliable. :P

The gods of SG do not favor you. You need to make an offering of Fortix for them.

Believe it or not, this is probably the biggest factor in not winning.

You mean chance to win the internet. Like this one

Don't listen to her, she is a liar . . . it only increases your chance by 80%.

Considering most of the games here have more than 1,000 entries, it's easily feasible that you haven't won anything yet. Just keep hitting "Enter to Win" and eventually you will.

It just doesn't make sense. If we save the time invested in making 1000 entries and instead find a part-time job, chances are you can buy quite a lot of games even if you're earning minimum wage.
Most of the game here are "trash games" from indie bundles.

What about people who enter giveaways while at work? A part-time job won't help them, will it?

entering 1000 times doesn't take much effort, couple minutes out of the day for a bit.

What "time"? It only takes a few minutes to enter a bunch of giveaways.
Say if entering a giveaway takes you 10 seconds, you could enter 360 giveaways in an hour's time. Of course, this would be spread over multiple days so you would barely notice.
Also, you act like it's "work" to do so (the same as minimum wage labor). I think entering giveaways is fun and wouldn't classify the hour spent as "work".

karma. 'cause you have a false sense of entitlement, and that's annoying... ;)
p.s. fyi i won my first GA at 900+, and it only had 3 other people.
