So I entered a giveaway for NBA: 2K15 a few seconds before it ended, and ended up winning it. The guy sent the key, I redeemed it, and clicked "received". It wasn't until a few minutes later that I noticed the key I got was actually for NBA 2K14 instead. I haven't got in contact with the giveaway creater yet, but in case I cannot get the right key, is it still possible to change the status of the GA to "not received" after a week, and not get a penalty?

We won't change to a different game. That is typically used for different versions of the same game or older versions of a game pack.

In this case, McWaffle should post in the giveaway asking for it to be deleted if they can't get the intended game.

Ok then, I'll try this. If he decides not to fix it though, will changing the status a week after wave the suspension, or am I screwed?

Change the status and you'll be fine. Best is to agree to a deletion so the creator isn't penalized.

You should unmark it now to avoid suspensions or blacklists.

I can't, whenever I click "Not Received", it says "Please allow the giveaway creator one week to
send the gift before marking it "not received"."

Oh, I just realized I can un-mark "received" after I marked it. That fixes it, thanks guys.

Could be the different basketball players for each team with each member having different stats than the last iteration of the NBA game.

An update version can count, such as an HD version that may even replace the original game in the store, but the two NBA games are considered as different games rather than version updates despite sports games rarely being something that gets massive changes between releases.
