Will you go on a Power Trip and grab 10 games for a tenth of a Ben(jamin Franklin bill)?

View Results
[Tier 1] Cheaper than the two 90% off sales it had! My money will Scoot right over.
[Tier 3] I can't resist those Paw Patrol games.
[Have] Never thought they'd be this cheap ;___;
[Skip] Aren't most of those lipstick on a (licensed) Peppa Pig?

Unbundled mostly, but still I have no interest in any of these franchises...

(7,53€ for lowest I saw as BTA)

I saw lower (7,40 Euro), but still I guess it was lowest as it was when 19 sold (in practice 3 copies) :).

But BTA monitoring currently has almost no sense , as it is always lowest price on a start of a bundle (16 sold), and them maybe sometimes some random fluctuations on first copies sold :)). Then it only goes up and up :). I remember times when BTA in HB meant something :P.

Summer break? More like schoolyard special.
Wouldn't necessarily be that bad if the games weren't terrible. Played most of them on Stadia (actually almost all the bundle has been in the Stadia Pro "free" games by now except Adventure Time and Jumanji, figures) with my niece and nephew and they were boring even for kids.

Only interested in Adventure Time and it's on sale for 3+ euros on IG, I'll take that deal instead

Thanks Lilly for being the fastest threadslinger in the WWWest and thanks Luckz for the laughs

I has nothing on this bundle, but dont want to buy even T1. I would be only mildly interested in Transformers and only because it is turn based but also can not be good anyway:P.. Skip

I've played the transformers one. It's a pretty good game... If you treat it as a baby's first strategy game. So for its intended audience, children ages about 10-13 it's a good game, it respects their intelligence without being overwhelming, but if you're used to playing strategy or tactics games, particularly ones like Xcom it will be too easy

don't have any of these, and 2 on the bta tier are on my wishlist. currently bta price is just about t3 price, so i'll watch to see if it goes down at all and maybe go t2

And not really unless they're very small and they probably won't be able to play the games on their own. I have them on Stadia pro because I had a 3 month trial I still haven't finished and even my nephew and niece were bored.

almost all these games have licenses, so i would suggest to buy it, for example transformers and ben 10 will be delisted somewhen.

I have no interest in most of the games (only the Adventure Time one looks decent, but haven't seen the show), but holy moly, these are some overpriced, mediocre games. 20-30€ each???

And that's not the only one...

Main stories:
TRANSFORMERS: BATTLEGROUNDS - 7.5 h
DreamWorks Dragons: Dawn of New Riders: 5.5 h
Ben 10: 2.5 h
Ben 10: Power Trip: 4.5
Jumanji: 1.5 h
PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay: 3.5 h
Paw Patrol: On A Roll!: 5 h

I don't mind a short, popping story instead of a slog, but this has to be a joke. They also have a MLP game for 40€ that is 2 hours long. The whole publisher is about selling sub-par, incredibly expensive liecensed mess because kids will eat it up.

Only Jumanji has mixed reviews out of those games, so they aren't "sub-par" according to the Steam reviews. Some are Positive, some are also Very Positive. Story mode can be repeated and isn't the only mode in these games. I think you forget how 'short' games were back in the day yet we didn't have issues replaying them and getting enjoyment out of $50-$100 NES/SNES/N64 games (which, with inflation, are all over $100 in today's money).

We could not allow to get a console, so I don't forget - I do not have memories of that.

You can have knowledge of how things used to be without having lived through them. Games used to be much more expensive and even shorter; as kids, many people enjoyed them for what they were without needing a 100+ hour RPG epic.

This is getting quite condescending, first you tell me I DO remember stuff, now we're at the I can/should know stuff - and all of this to legitimize expensive and short games that - for "some reason" - are super rare now. Because it's uncalled for, and the whole industry proves that it's not a way to go. Like how few reviews the games have, 31 in 4 years, or 94 in 3 years, etc

And also, thank fuck we're past that era, by 2-3 decades or so.
We're past the arcade mentality of make games hard to get as much money out of the players as they can, and we're past the hardware constraints that did not allow longer games. I'm pretty sure children enjoyed playing with "whatever best they had in their time" since dawn of mankind, it's not really a point in proving it is, or even was good.

It's $10. Your reaction is strange.

Permalink

I talked about store prices at the beginning, very clearly.
You then chimed in with that I surely remember more expensive and even shorter games and how happy everyone was with them.
Then it became that I must have read it about.
Now, 4 days later you chime in with "it's $10" after talking about store prices, and not the bundle price.

Textbook example of moving the goalposts. Troll somewhere else. You can like these games without making this mockery of arguments, trying to "prove" that I'm wrong at feeling the games overpriced.

Yeah no. My main point was that they are not "sub-par", and then your lack of understanding of English grammar caused you to get uppity with me for some reason. Nasty.

Licensed kid stuff makes for expensive games. And since they don't really need anything else to sell them, they didn't even bother making actual games. It's all the same boring template and not a great one at that

most of the games have around 2 hours of gameplay. the lego bundle they just put out before has FAR more content, higher store scores, and kids enjoy them.
