I'm assuming the technical closed beta is multiplayer only, but anyone know for sure?

Multiplayer only, but there is a nice offline tutorial to go through first.

...which explains literally nothing about the multiplayer gameplay and leaves you to lose a bunch of matches before even understanding whats going on :D
