Just want to chuck them all in a Steam category as a reminded to watch for progress on those titles.

I've done that for games that I know are Early Access. I suppose the easiest way would be to have a window open to the Early Access list (with Enhanced Steam installed for easy viewing) and just flip back & forth to tag the games.

you could try clicking on all of them while having the newest steam launcher update on.

Not that I know, but here my category https://imgur.com/fK370sd I guess I still have a couple of EAs around to add to that category.

Enhanced Steam puts an early access banner on every early access game, so you could open your list in web browser and look for that banner.

Not a bad idea. I don't know of any, but if you find one I'll do that too. Bumped.

yeah enhance steam, go to your profile and look in games and you'll see what EA games are as they'd have a banner marking them.

jeez... not all Early Access games are as bad as EA games.

EA make fine games for the most part, though head honchos wanting more money don't help (but that is true of most companies).

I have it, that really isn't going to help. I need to narrow it down. Going manually through more than 1800 games is not easy.

aye.... with that many its' a far different story.

Go to your list, open inspect element, Ctrl + F and search for "chrome-extension://okadibdjfemgnhjiembecghcbfknbfhg/img/overlay/ea_184x69.png". Click the steam store link above this image link to go that game community hub. Just press next in the find bar to go the next game. You need Enhanced Steam installed for this. Also this is the Chrome link.

Also instead of adding them to a steam category I found with the new update that you can follow the games. This means you get information about the games updates come up on your activity feed.

Just wanted to say chuck them in category. Comes into thread. Sees you've already said that. Well I guess I'm done here. :P

I have about the same amount of games and one day I sat down to catagorize them all, after 5 minutes I thought 'fuck this' and went to the pub instead.

Right now, I have Beaten, Broken and Early Access, though that third one isn't complete.

The games refuse to work for me on this PC, no matter what I've tried on suggestions from developers and forum users.

Can't get it to list everything, and doing a search for Early Access gets some false hits where the tag should have been removed.

I'm doing this right now, but I have a strange bug, I can't see more than 10 pages on the Early Access list, this works but this doesn't load.
Is it the same for others ?

Or do you have another full list of all Early Access games on Steam ?

Ever noticed how Steam refuses to make the list of games sortable by "Greatest Discount?"

That's why we go to other sites for that like steam sales. :p Steam is silly.

Use Enhanced Steam plugin go here http://store.steampowered.com/#library wait for it to load(mine took a while since I have almost 700 games) and select Early Access under Genres.

i don't think the direct link works, but i can confirm this method does work!

for those who're interested, if you have the plugin installed, go to steam in your browser, after the plugin loads, it's in the top of your steam menu, there will be an additional link "library" in-between 'store' and 'community'

...aanndd i categorised all my early access games into their own steam category as well :)

I don't see the "Library" link with the Firefox plugin.

Chrome FTW.
Anyways, you were right about the link not working. The problem was in the slash at the end(/#library/), but if you try to visit the same link without the slash at the end(/#library) it will work. I edited my post to reflect this.

sorry for the necrobump, but is there still any good way to do it now? I realised i forgot to classify some early access games - alas, I forgot which ones, and the above methods (what banner is supposed to show up? as well as the library link trick above) don't work anymore ;_;

I got more than 700 games since this topic was made...

Unfortunately, I never did find a good method myself.

I believe Depressurizer can also sort Early Access games, as long as they have the Early Access tag on their store page. Not sure, though.

Autocategorize using that, it includes an early access category. Then, select all of your games and with the box with category check boxes, deselect all non-early access categories if you don't want them. It's based on local files, so there are some games that are no longer in early access [e.g. Kerbal Space Station]. If you want accurate categories, delete GameDB.xml and it'll download the new data for you. Presto

Still waiting for the day on which Steam announces the ubercomplex hightech function to sort games by their "top 3" categories from the SteamStore page, if only there was such a highskilled programmer who could make this happen, I guess at the rate Steam progresses we will have ads in the gamevideo's before this happens.
