Does this sound like a good idea to you?
This is great! A reveal button should be implemented! Not perfect but I don't think you can do better :3

Great idea. Also would be nice to re-roll automatically after 7 days of non-claiming, imho.

a rare drawback: you won't know if the user's key is possibly used already in rare cases where it's their word vs their word
The winner will be able to ignore the key in the case of multiple wins, making a re-roll easier.
it's unfortunate the winner would still be given the option when they should ignore the second win. I still see a lot of people where it's marked as received, so I don't see any real change from the already existing behaviour. maybe there's something else that makes them mark it, but who knows. maybe it could be coded to only allow one of the keys to be shown if the user won the same game twice, but that could be a headache

Anything which make it easier to both the gifter and giftee to increase transparency will be good imo +1 as well :)

I like this, it would be good for dev giveaways where 1000 keys are given so support can easily verify as well. I've got giveaways from months ago that are still awaiting responses from mass giveaways

Many of those keys were probably sold, traded, or re-gifted.

Unfortunately yes, but that doesn't mean someone creating a giveaway like that should have a year of them being unmarked for feedback. People breaking the rules shouldn't fall on the giveaway creator

I agree, of course; I don't think I indicated otherwise.
Can you invalidate the unmarked keys? :-}

I could ask the dev to but he's been Mia from the site I know him on for a while now, doesn't bother me as much since its only about 50 of 2000 but I can imagine it being rather annoying for people with a whole bunch awaiting feedback

Benefits are better than the drawbacks..its a good idea.

Current System ---
The giveaway creator is able to input a Steam key when making the giveaway. This key may be displayed to the winner of the giveaway by toggling a button to "Show Key," or hidden from the winner by toggling it to "Hide Key."
Suggestion (from UltraTaber) ---
Add a button the the winner's page called "Accept Key" which will then display the key to the winner (assuming the creator has toggled his button to "Show Key"). This is a one-time event, independent of the creator's toggle, and once triggered, cannot be undone. Once the button is pressed, it will be known that the key has been seen and possibly used by the winner.
