After several days struggling to get this game running more than 10 minutes before it freezes and totally locks up, I think I'm about done with troubleshooting it for now. I'll probably try again, but I just want to play something that actually works. So I'm thinking The Walking Dead: Michonne - choices matter and I'd really like to finish Okami HD (lots of hours from a previous event) if that's ok. I think it complies with the mythical creature category as well as the companion who is dressed in green (don't come across that one too often).

The Mystery of Woolley Mountain : You can put this under monster.
Pillars of Eternity - can be put under mosters too and dark fantasy, you already have a lot of hours in it, but as far as I can tell it is not yet beaten, right? so depending on how far you are actually in the game you can add it. Though not if you are finished in the next 20 min of playtime ;)
Creaks - from the video on store page it plays at least partly at night
For your question find the answer here. Basically anything unfinished goes as long as it is not nearly finished. So a game of several hours HLTB playtime where you then play 5 more minutes will most likely not count. And if in doubt just ask here ;)

And nope, Pillars is not yet beaten. I'm in the last act, but I still have almost all of my companion's side quests to do, I have not even yet recruited all of the possible companions and then there is the White March still waiting for me ... no, as I said, I don't think I will be done with Pillars anytime soon. I was forced to take a break from it last year December as it had turned into an unbearable "staring at loading screen"-simulator. Now I have a new laptop with an SSD and ... yeah. Hooked again ;)

It's not really all that deep when you know languages in the same linguistic group. For example, in ancient Rome centurion was a military commander who lead 100 soldiers. Right now century is an English word for 100 year period and cent in French word for 100. Or in Polish and Russian word for window is okno, only difference might be alphabet used and accents here and there. It's not that they coincidentally sound similar, but they are actually usually related in some way.

Yep, games without achievements are fine. You just need to post screenshot of ending credits or from some scenes near the end at the event page (on your game submission).
The game can be played before, not just very very close to the end (like 90%).

And for already started games just be not nearly done with them. So basically if you have a game with 20HLTB time and you already played it 19.5h it will most likely not count. But if in doubt just ask and we will answer :)

no, which is one reason i skip october's end-of-month-event and go for the far more important and historic one of Thanksgiving. It's also federal law here, as mandated--with good reason--by Abe Lincoln.
I'd so much rather be thankful to God for His blessings then be scared by the neighbor kids or scaring old folks just so I can be greedy and get candy. Plus, i really don't like the decorations around here for all hallows eve.

Well the German version is on the first Sunday in October. But then it is also not such a huge family feast like in America. Basically it is not really celebrated outside of the church an farming community.

We dont have any thanksgiving type thing but I know its important in america and such. We do have bonfire night so at least we have a celebration for something but its more about well bonfires and fireworks. No fancy feast for us

Does Forager count as "Game with monsters, magicians, ghosts, undeads, mythical creatures"? I'm in early game, but I've encountered slimes and skeletons (as enemies). If it counts, I'll try to get a screenshot of it.

You can delete it or let it stay, your choice. And feel free to choose a different game :)

welcome to the event. The game looks fine to me. I have added it for you to the current event on the event page too. We use that to track all the achievements and play time and to distribute the invite only GA links to everyone who qualified. You can log in there using your steam account. When you are finsihed with your games just change the status on the event page to beaten/completed. Then we can check it and approve it.
If the game has no achievements, make a screenshot of the end credits or finishing scenes so we can verify that you've beaten the game.
The comment here in thread is basically so we can contact you if something is wrong with your game entry or if we have questions.
Other than that, have fun with your game :D

You can add them any time you want. Even after the months is over though I would not like you very much if you did that, since I would have to add them manually :P

Hello,
I just finished the main campaign of Spellforce 2, however there are no end credits, the game congratulates me and just tells me that I can continue to walk around and do the last side quests.
Afterwards if you want credits, they are accessible directly from the main menu of the game.
Does the second campaign have to be completed for it to count towards the event of the month? I'll still do it, even if it's an extension of the game at the base.
