you just want to maximize your chances. so higher level giveaways, smaller groups, giveaways on the forum.

Joining giveaway groups might be a good way for beginners for winning games you actually want. Giving a lot yourself to level up and gain access to higher level giveaways with better chances also helps.
And to answer another one of your questions: no, I don't enter for games I don't want to play.

Also, if you don't have young girls in your neighbourhood just try to find your own way. For example, by being an active member of community may grant you access to some groups (that usually means bigger chances). Lurking of forum also helps.

Last but not least - by creating GAs, you level up, which gives access to other GAs. There aren't many users on level 10, so you will have biggest chances to win something there. By being at level zero you will have small chances because everyone will be allowed to enter. And so on.

Be active & visible and chances are that people will start adding you to their whitelists and/or private groups, that way you'll have a far greater chance of winning games. Just going for public GAs is possible, but chances are that you'll rarely be able to win anything "sought after", due to the number of entries.

Good games to win? That's really up to you, but if there's anything that you want in a current bundle, even an upper tier, you'll get plenty of chances to win that game. Also, games that don't have region locked retail keys, but are still sold in retail stores and other online stores tend to find their way onto SG in large numbers (like Shadow of Mordor).

I don't enter in everything and I don't have any strategy :(

If you are active on forums you might get an unexpected group invite on Steam where chances of winning something are way higher ;)

Best strategy is to join private giveaways, mostly by paying close attention to forum threads and doing puzzles ^^
Raising ones level and ratio helps eligibility as well

Choosing GA with low amount of entries and higher levels. Always giveaway games to gain levels and join those higher leveled GA. I used to always just join every giveaway on th list until I ran out of points. Now I dont normally enter giveaways without them being level 3-4 with below 500-400 entries with 1 hour left. My basic strategy. You have to give some to get some one might say, which would apply in more than this situation xD but seriously higher leveled GA always better odds

No real strategy

Well, I just put you on my WL with that ratio, so have a go at mine.

1. High level (5+ usually) stuff
2. Multi-copy stuff
3. Small (100 members or less typically) group giveaway stuff

Other than that, it's pretty hard to win wishlisted things. Actually, group giveaways are probably your best bet for that, but even then, you never know what people will make giveaways for. :S

First i enter for giveaways from my wishlist (its kinda big so i have where to spend my points), then giveawys from groups, if I have still points i check forums for private giveaways, after that I enter public giveaways from my level, if there is none i enter lower levels till 0p.

Joining groups is my best advice. Keep a lookout in Group Recruitment and if you see a group you think would suit you add a post indicating your interest (even if they are not currently recruiting as often groups will contact people who expressed an interest whilst they weren't recruiting when they come around to a new recruitment drive)

Be aware though that if the games you like are non bundled generally you'll also need to giveaway non bundled games ..
