I would like to join! I love the giving spirit found in the Steamgift community and I always try to give more than I receive. I maintain a true value that's double what I receive, give a gift for each one that I get (and then some), give regularly, and I have plenty more to give!

Hmmm... I have a small collection of extra game codes from bundles I've purchased over the last several years. Just to make sure I'm not nuts, you're saying that if I join your group, I can essentially end up "swapping" all my duplicates for other games?

One question that I seem to be missing in the FAQ -- it mentions "free giveaways" vs non-free ones. What is being "charged"? Is that just referring to the ratio points system?
(Side note: is it "4 giveaways over the first 4 weeks" or "1 giveaway a week, for 4 weeks"? It sounds like the latter...)

Correct they are not charged any ratio for those who win and as such are 'free' for the group members.

It is "1 giveaway a week, for 4 weeks". We would like to see our initiates to become an active part of the group.
Just to be clear, we are a giveaway group, it's not trading. But yes. By giving away the keys you have to spare you can win other games you don't have yet in return.

Good day. I stumbled across the group (and then this thread) when adding one of your members for a trade on barter.vg. I've been on SG and barter for less than a year each, but I've tried to make the most of each by staying active. My steamtrades comments are all positive (mostly from barter trades) and my ratio on steamgifts is pretty good (level 6 with a CV ratio of greater than 7:1). I am fairly active in acquiring new keys (though I've slowed down some since last year) and have a handful available right now that I could contribute.
With the 1:1 give to win ratio, this feels a little like a hybrid of gifting and trading, which is really cool. Thank you for the opportunity to request membership on this thread and for your consideration of my value as a group member!

I'm lately changing my approach to SG, so I've decided, that Bundle Quest is a group, that would suit me and in which I should fit alright.
I'm an SG user for 2.5 years (with a year or so break). I'm not a card farmer and I'm not a +1 collector. I don't buy +1 crap games to earn CVs, but I do buy and gift stuff from Eneba and Gamigo, when it's something at good price, that I would not be ashamed to gift.
If I enter GAs for Playing Appreciated group or GAs, which creator requests the game to be played, I do play them as requested (though, I think, with the later I have once failed and earned a BL), but my backlog, both with games bought and games won on SG is HUGE... and I don't have an issue with this. More about this is in the OP of the thread linked below, but generally I'm getting games like books for my library: to be on hand, when I'm in a mood to play them or when I need them for something.
Generally, for quite a while I mostly treat SG as a gift exchange place, and that's how I look at other members: don't take much more, than you can give, unless you are really playing the games. When you check groups from which I most often win (LootBoy, PA for example), my balance there is usually either close to zero or positive.
On SG I've done 2 Cakeday trains and 1 train-like event. As for now however I don't see myself running play together events.
There is 1 member in the group, that for a very good reason is on my BL, and I will not remove him form it. If you need me to explain this, please add me on Steam to discuss it there.

Hello sir, I would like to join if I can. I love sharing games that with people and try to play them as much as possible while working full time. Generally I'm here to join giveaways and give back to the community although I don't get too much bundles or keys, I try to get them time to time. I don'k know much about the groups or other things but I'd appreciate if I learn and make friends doing this.

I am an active member on steamgifts for over 4 years and i constantly create GAs for the groups that i am member of.
I enter group GAs for games that i am interested in and if i win i try to play them in the near future.

Bundle Quest is recruiting and looking for a few more members who love bundle games!
This Steam group is a great place for gifting bundle keys with a nice group of friends. And to make sure that sharing is actually fun, it will be done on a ratio system. That means that for every game you share, you are guaranteed a game back. Now that is a great way to build your game collection!
We started almost 7 years ago and in this period a grand total of over 80.000 games have been given. Currently we got around 100 private giveaways running. We have 160 members and we are looking to hire about 40 more members.
We aren't just looking for any member though, so read on if you are what we are looking for.
How will this group work?
All giveaways will be handled by Steam Gifts. We make group only giveaways that the members of Bundle Quest can enter. To keep things fair, we use a ratio. We count the number of games you have given away in the group and the number of games you won, which determines your ratio. For tracking we have our own Bundle Quest website which keeps track of the ratio and everything else. Just keep a fair ratio. It’s that simple.
This group is for active members who like sharing and playing together.
From new members we ask that you proof that you want to be a part of the group. First by making your first giveaway within 48 hours after being invited. Only after this giveaway has completed can you enter the group giveaways. Also we like to see you post a minimum of 1 giveaway per week for the next 4 weeks. During your initiation period we want to see you active, so this way we ensure we only let active members be part of the group.
Off course we also ask you to always follow the group rules. They can be found on our web site. Be sure to have read the Rules and Questions and Answers before applying!
Who are we looking for?

Please post more than a simple “I like to join”, but tell us why you would like to team up.
We got about 40 open spots right now and selecting who will be invited will be done by the group admins based on your motivation and criteria posted above. Don't feel bad if you didn't make it.
