Title says it all, basically. What I mean is a game page like this. I want to be able to find one without getting there through a giveaway. For example, no public giveaway of Thief has been made, and I have not yet seen a private or group ga of it. So how do I know how many of those have been made of it if I've never gone to the page? Is it possible?

I guess if you memorize its unique code (Q7BJx in this case) you can. But in the case of a game that hasn't been given away, I don't think so.

But how do I memorize it if I never accessed it in the first place? If I've never been to the page, how do I get there besides getting there through a giveaway?

Sorry, I just edited my post to say I don't know:p

Then I shall respond to the edited version: If it says on the database wishlist that it's never been given away, that excludes private GA's. I remember multiple times seeing a giveaway for a game that was in that list. Heck, I've entered a giveaway for D4RK, which is on that list right now. But it was a private giveaway.

Though, you could create a giveaway for the game, then find its code and cancel the giveaway.

Create a private giveaway and give nobody the link, just let it run out. I'm not sure if that would cancel a slot still or not?

Unless I'm doing it wrong, that doesn't work.. I found a GA for Fez and copied the code but I just got 'invalid game code' :/

Are you sure you didn't mistaken the giveaway code with the game code?

Go to SteamGameSales. Find the game you are looking for and view the history. SG uses the same 5 character code that SGS uses in the link.

This doesn't work for every game, but many of the ones never given away

@OP ^ that method works just fine, use that.

Nice idea to do it viceversa.
Thief hasn't got sales. And any other game is probably harder to find that way than from a giveaway.

It doesn't answer the question. The whole point about my question is if there ISNT a giveaway.

At the front page, there's an option to view closed giveaway, above the page numbering. There's three options:
New, Coming Soon, Closed

Pick 'Closed', then search the game you want on the search bar. It will list down all the public and group giveaways for the game that have closed.

Again, as said above; didn't answer my question

Did you try my suggestion yet? That's the method I use to find games to give away that have never been given away before.

Then try jatan11t's suggestion.

There are (26{small letters}+26{big letters}+10{numbers})^5{links are 5 long} possibilities. This means: 916132832 possibilities.
Currently there are perhaps 2000 open right now. So your chances to find a giveaway by randomly entering a link are 0,0000022%. And I mean- you could find a bundle giveaway :D
And: No, there is no page like the one you posted.
