There was this series of RPGs based on Id Software's games for old j2me phones that I really liked
Shank (I know Klei moved on but I wouldn't mind a third part)

And Portal is technically getting a spin-off so I guess I can't include it in the list.

I know there are tons of "spiritual successors", but I would probably be happier with a straight remake with multi.

Sam and Max: Freelance Police. They really need to make season 4, I'm tired of replaying the previous games :P

I really miss the Suikoden Series especially the first 3 games of the series.

• HoMM (I will pretend 6 and 7 never happened. I'm afraid the series won't ever recover under Ubi.)
• SMAC (But really SMAC and nothing alike the crappy Beyond Earth.)
• Railroad Tycoon (III was great in so many ways. The AI was dumb, but everything else was superb.)

No one mentioned "Painkiller" 😥

From my childhood, I'd have to say a new Sly Cooper and a new Golden Sun

Edit: I saw someone in the comments say Fable. I'd love that as well as long as it's like Fable 1 and 2.

Mafia 1 and THPS 1, 2 and 3 remasters

Dungeon Keeper. War for the Overworld was a good game, and it understood what made DK so fun. But I would still want more dungeon keeper!

System Shock. Yeah, I liked Bioshock, but it's not as good as System Shock.

Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim. I loved the first game, liked the second, and I would really want to see a game that tries to capture what made the first one so fun.

SWAT, in the style of SWAT 3/4, not SWAT 1, or 2. Heck, a SWAT 2 done right might actually be fun as well....

Arcanum. Because the setting is so amazing. If you've played it, you know.

Vampire: The Masquerade. In the vein of Bloodlines, not Redemption.

Fable... but it's never going to happen and for that I'm sad. Also Blinx that was a fun couple games.

[PROTOTYPE]. A game where you play as an infected runner with shape-shifting abilities.

Combines parkour and using vehicles, weapons and super-human abilities, ultimately making you an unstoppable bringer of death.

Also, a great game if you just want to beat the living crap out of anything that stands in your way.

Sadly it will never happen since Radical (a company who made the first and second game of the series) was shut down by Activision.

i want alien isolation 2 :( i know theres only been one game, so technically doesnt count, but still.. we've had so many bad alien games in the overall alien franchise, it sucks that a genuinely great one wont get to continue :(

Anything by Rare if they team up with Nintendo again, the combined quality control created so many classics.

Anarchy Online is still going and has had a graphical update, but I'd love to see it go back to how it was (less micro transactions) WITH a modern graphics engine. I'd be standing around the Temple of the Three Winds right now looking for a team for my level 60 Twink :P
