How are people tracking entries?

For the longest time for me it was Garys Mod, ended up just buying it! I'd say Poker Night at the Inventory was another until I won it! Contradiction never seemed to get any GA's so I bought that too.

Not indie but I've entered a lot of megatag blanc giveaways, I'd guess thats my current most entered but not won. I've won more than my fair share of amazing things to compensate.

For me, the answer is not so simple.

Yes, there are some games I try for, over and over, but most of those are AAA titles. Up until recently, I didn't even try for bundled games. I figured I could afford to buy them, myself, at a later date. The problem with that idea is that games in bundles are usually kept by the people who buy those bundles. I have an entire list of bundled games I have been unable to buy because they are either kept by the purchaser or dumped on SteamGifts (where I am unable to win them).

Here are a few of the games in which I have a high entry count:

• Stardew Valley 179 (finally won this)
• Wolf Simulator 122 (finally won this one, too)
• Kingdom: New Lands 111
• The Last Door: Season 2 - CE (gave up and bought it)
• Slime Rancher 87 == The Descendant 87
• Space Hulk Ascension 81 (just won it two hours ago)

More often than not, however, the reason I "cannot" win a particular game is because it is rarely (if ever) given away. This may be because people want to keep the copy they buy, or it may be because people have never heard of the game. For whatever, reason, you will almost never see a giveaway for these low-cost, high-quality games. Here is my list of games people should be giving away (but are not):

Well, this has turned into a fascinating exercise. And one that turned out surprising. A feel good topic this time.

It's really hard to tell what's an AAA game these days since some indie games look like AAAs and some AAAs look like total sht.

But from the 'smaller' titles I'd say:

• Negligee
• Firewatch (is that still an indie title?)
• Undertale

So i was reading all the responses and realized that there is huge gap between what people consider 'not winning' .

Some people added games from recent cheap bundles or/and heavily discounted games which are given away in huge numbers , which IMHO was the whole point of this thread. Others while not including AAA titles ( again it's hard to say what AAA even stands for these days ) includes games which had so few giveaways for them i dont even think they qualify at all and winning one is practically impossible.

Some even include titles i have seen 0 giveaways for . No wonder they cant win it:D
