Help us resurrect dead multiplayer games!

Thank you, here's another :D

Being cheap about games, especially bundle games, is understandable. But a lot of people do enjoy some of these games and would love to play multiplayer if it wasn't for the fact that they're dead. So that's where we come in. :)

I've personally never played it, but we have Binary Domain in our supported list. Feel free to join and add your voice to our Binary Domain thread to garner some interest, and maybe even start up your own event? That's what the group is here for :)

Binary Domain is one my short list of games to play next. I've had it on 360 and PC for ages and it always looked like fun, but I never actually seem to play it. What is the multiplayer like? I'm guessing just Horde mode, like most every game.

Voice recognition worked like sh*t for me :( I yelled CHAAAAAARGE and my teammate responded with "covering!" and similar :D

A friend of mine informed me that Rise of Nations's MP is mostly the highly-skilled competitive players. Very few casuals, very few people who don't play it competitively, so a very dead online area. So yeah, if we can get some people with RoN sharing support in the group, we can set up an event at some point :)

quake 3 still has players, not that many though.

Hadn't heard of it until now, but, looking at the Store page, it doesn't look like it'll be resurrected anytime soon. Not with its dead/toxic community. :/

Really that it is dead? It's a fun game, I'm surprised.

If you'd like us to support a game, then join the group and reply to our suggestions thread! And if we do end up supporting it, then you can make your own event in the calendar! Epigenesis does seem like it's in need of some resurrecting. :)

The Steam Community is currently down for maintenance.

Both Warhammer 40k and E.Y.E. seem to have active multiplayer communities, so they won't be added to the list.

Sure! If you go into the giveaway creation area, there's a section where you can limit it to just a group. Select Dead MP Games Resurrection Group and make the rest of the giveaway as you would normally, and make sure you post it in the group General Discussion forum, and you're all set! It'd be really appreciated :D

Unification of time is a difficult thing that would take years to adapt to as a society. :P

In any case, the event dates/times should adapt to your local timezone. Check http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ResurrectDeadMPGames on the right side. What times/dates do those events say for you?
