And which OS?
A 3-year-old Sony Xperia U with CyanoGenMod (updated Android) installed.
If you have a "basic" use don't rule out Nokias: they are very cheap compared to their performance. Windows Phone is not intuitive, because it doesn't mimic the desktop environments we are used to, like Android and iOS, but once you learned it, it lets you access your phone's features faster.

Htc One M9, the old M7 is currently my backup. But with the M9, HTC annoys the hell out of me, thanks to apps you can't deactivate and providing about as much useless junk as samsung does. I find it highly disturbing in general, why put all that garbage on a phone nobody uses and everyone is annoyed about? Why not just vanilla and essential apps? I Mean, the M9 didn't even have a darn flashlight app in the beginning, THAT would've been a decent pre-installed app.

All that is true, but it can easily be fixed by rooting your device and then forcibly uninstalling it with an app from the play store.
To get rid of the whole clunky interface, then just flash Cyanogenmod on it and then boom, vanilla HTC One m9.

I agree. I bricked my Motorola Droid Razr HD by using Flashify (a flashing app on the play store) to load TWRP recovery. Anyways it deleted the stock recovery and failed to load the custom recovery. In simple words, it couldn't boot up because there was no recovery to even boot from. So I was just left with an expensive brick.
I also agree with the warranty, don't risk it. Try it later on if you aren't satisfied after your warranty is expired.

Flame, using Firefox OS. Waiting to use Firefox OS on the Xperia Z3 Compact.
I would maybe give a try to Jolla's phone too, using Sailfish OS or those using Ubuntu Touch :)
(Before this, Open C with Firefox OS, HTC Hero, with Android, HTC Touch, Windows Mobile 6, and before this some old Samsung, Sagem and Nokia feature phones)

I don't really like mobile devices with iOS, Android and Windows. Why? Maybe 'cause I don't need all functions they provide or just want to keep my location, face and other things as more annonymous as possible)
First one was Alcatel (I can't remember which one), later was Nokia 1600, Siemens AX75, Nokia 6610, Nokia X1-01, Nokia X2-02 and now I have 2 great SE devices.

Other OS; S30. I use a Nokia 100, may switch to a Nokia 108, but only to give this nice little phone to my mother to replace her almost dead old Nokia.
Yeah, we like our Nokia mobile phones. But they are easy to use, last long, and serve the purpose a phone should have: talking with other people.

I use a g4 as my daily phone, and my old nexus 4 to try out various new roms (that phone's pretty much unbrickable)
