I don't understand, people talk so much shit about WarZ, yet so many people either want it or buy it, either you're all just bandwagon hating on this shit and being hypocrites about it by secretly buying it, or you're all buying it BECAUSE of the shit talks just to see how bad it is

War z was 75% off, thats why it was selling so well. Hell I thought about buying it just to have it but I passed seeing how the summer sale is coming soon and I'd rather buy a game that I'd probably play

It sells well on a regular day, I'm aware that it was 75% off yesterday (or 2 days ago, depending on your timezone), but according to your logic, if that were the case, wouldn't every daily deal that's 75% off hit top seller on Steam?

They usually do unless it's still >$10, or absurdly obscure. War Z had the benefit of being $3.74 and very well known, so people were willing to drop the money on a pile of shit. I only got to play 3 hours of the free 24h I was given (got banned for getting killed by multiple hackers across multiple servers), but I do have to say it's quite the experience. It is literally the perfect example of a cash-in game that took someone 2 months to create, and anyone that is interested in game design has to check it out.

I was given the game today and i must say it's shit and i didn't even play it yet.

Wondering why i say this? Because my mind tells me so and the reports i've seen about this game put it in a real bad position, game even got removed from steam once for violating something which i cant remember. Thing is, they made promises that they didn't make come true.
