We have nearly 90,000 uncategorized discussions, and fewer than 90,000 support users, so we're looking for a little help. The below page pulls a random discussion that's uncategorized, and a list of available categories. By clicking on a category, you're voting to move that discussion to the category you selected. After you vote, another random discussion will appear to repeat the process. Once we have a large enough sample size, we'll move the uncategorized discussions to the categories where they received the highest number of votes. Thanks for helping us out!

If you have any questions about categories, or if you feel we're missing a category that might be useful, let us know.

Edit: To clarify a bit, the General category should be used for SteamGifts and Steam related discussions (How do I get points?, Fortix Giveaway, Should I Buy Portal?, Is Steam Down?, etc) and Off-Topic for everything unrelated.

Come on people, these threads aren't going to categorize themselves.

Third one was 4 years old with no comments..
Maybe a purge would be a good idea before trying to categorize each one.

After going through these, it seems like we would benefit from adding the following categories (most fall under this):

Giveaways (when non-puzzle, currently crammed into "general", which is a bit vague given how common they are.)

Questions (aside from off-topic questions, almost all of these are about the site or about Steam, and get crammed into General as well.)

When using the tool link, after every 5 or so posts a blank page body is shown but the SG header still appears.
I'm on Android mobile using Chrome. My workaround is to refresh the page and resubmit the form.

I'm closing this discussion since the tool was recently removed. Thanks for the help! We ended up going from 90k to 72k uncategorized discussions, which is a noticeable improvement. However, in the end I decided to remove the tool because it's turning out to not be as efficient as originally intended, and I would prefer to not see people investing further time on it. It could be a candidate for a machine learning task one day, but for now I think we'll just leave them as uncategorized.
