Did you get married before or after you get cured from depression? if before, how did you manage to undergo the courting the process and whatnot until you tie the know considering the subjective difficulty you must have faced?

Timeline goes like, grandma and grandpa die from different sides of the family when I was 9, my parents started flooring store when I was 12, homeschooled though all this and raised in a super religious Messianic household. I went to public school for grade 11 and 12 and met my wife at the end I graduated an semester early. My mom had been fighting cancer since I was 14 so I will say that is when I got depressed. She died when I was 18, I was very suicidal and very not sure what was going to happen. Went to a big music festival and some one gave me and my wife some acid to try and cured me of my suicidal thoughts and feelings. Had my son at 19 but was still very depressed and it felt like it only got worse if I was working or not, so took some time off and after my son's 1st birthday my wife got us some acid to take and we cured both of our depression! Of course there is a whole lot more to it lots of therapy for both of us and together. But holy did it take a long time and a lot of work. Truly for me knowing that we are just here and this experience is everything made me change my prospective in life and changed my dirty glasses. I saw so much beauty in those experiences that I won't ever let me return to that state of existence .

Lot of depressed people here. It's pretty sad to see this. I hope you all get better and overcome it. Happy to hear you got your life in the right direction. I also just had my first baby. 🙌🏻

Oh, that's so wonderful to hear, congratulations!!! ^^

I'm in it now and trying very hard, but (...) (sigh)

Edited: I asked about how you dealt with your condition, but I see you've already answered that above.
Thanks for sharing your honest story (I'm glad that it was a kindly experience, that worked for you and your beloved, take care of yourself)

Congrats on winning the battle :}
Was always afraid of acid - had a friend that tried it when we were teenagers, and it changed his personality for the worse (he became super paranoid and borderline bipolar)

Thank you! Yes if you go without intention or without a reason to heal it can be hard to get any good out of it. But yes sometimes substances just work for people, and those people shouldn't have substances, or be kids 😂

I just logged back into SteamGifts today after years of inactivity.
Saw I am in your whitelist because of a post you made around 4 years ago,
and now I open the discussions tab and see this post.

Man... I couldn't be happier for you.
As someone who's been dealing with depression for the past couple of years. This made my day.

Keep it up buddy. You're great!
