Will you use it?
I just think that this is the kind of feature that should require some sort of email verification and a scrow time instead of trading. It's not like they need to do something new just apply the security measures they already have.
The process necessary to do this should be complicated enough so nobody can do it by accident, and trolls get discouraged.

Heck, I even want Uriel's Chasm 2 just to be able to claim ownership of the worst pair of games ever created.

This is quite honestly the most ridiculous thing Valve's done to date.
Give people power, they abuse/misuse it ... it's human nature, because 99.9% of us aren't smart enough to use any power we're given responsibly.
There should most definitely be some kind of email verification before you can remove games from your library yourself. We're already given a "hide" feature, and I fail to see why anyone would need to remove games rather than hide them, except in very rare cases (in which case they can contact support). This is just going to lead to more support cases when hackings and mistakes occur -- hackers who delete your library out of spite, and people who accidentally delete the wrong game, or change their mind and want it back later to play with a friend or something.
Bad move, Valve, bad move.

Kids better behave if their parents ever find out about this. Better not piss off their brothers or sisters either.

i just find this option kinda stupid, so now if a hacker go succesfully, you lose your items + all the money that you spend on steam, without any confirmation.... and just because some people doesnt want to see games that they bought (seriously, you can make groups or organize your library to not to see them at all -.-) rito pls, i mean, gaben pls just rofl

If anything, why not do what iTunes has? Allow users to "remove" games (music, in the case if iTunes) from their library, but let them go into their user setting at anytime and restore what they removed. You still own the game you deleted, but it's just not a part of your library anymore, unless you want it to be later on someday.

Yeah ! I'm going to remove everything right now !
And then, I'm going to buy everything again !
I like my games to be fresh !
EDIT : by the way, do you keep your achievements ? I want to erase everything. I want to erase my account. I want to... Yeah !

Yet another reason to not get yourself hacked.
Edit: Despite word "permanently" it seems to be possible to restore (at least for limited time).
