Back when The Shamen sounded like Syd Barrett with keyboards and a drum machine.

Alice in Chains, old and new. \m/
Alice In Chains - Love, Hate, Love one of Layne's best live vocal performances, imho.
Alice in Chains - Check My Brain still kicking ass years later. Layne'd be proud.

Just started getting into some of Rabea's stuff recently.
So you've probably heard of Dorje, too, then.
Edit: Oh, and because I need to post music - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FMFrIxSucE

I am stoked to hear his band is still playing! As for you, my fellow SG friend, have earned some blu-luv from me (WL) because that show must've been so awesome!! (Is the jealousy apparent yet? :P Hahaha...) Man, they just don't make gothic rock like that anymore.

That's true - they don't play very often; and to see the only show they played last year is an exceptionally rare treat! (Hence the jealousy. :P Hahaha)
Were you able to get any of their sets on video? If you posted it/them on YouTube, I would L-O-V-E to see!!! :D

A lot of what is labelled drum'n'bass sounds like pop to me, but this is the sort of drum'n'bass I like. When trying to find out what the subgenre is called, I usually give up when confronted by an ever increasing number of labels that sound ever increasingly made-up. So I still don't know whether this particular style should rather be called Psychofunk or Madstep or something still different.;-) But it's great.
